There’s a misconception that runners like running. I run and race because it pushes me to find my limits and makes dealing with the stress of life easier. I was an endurance athlete for as long as I can remember and my evolution as a runner is common, starting with cross-country, then road races, trail running, and now obstacle course racing (Spartan races mainly). It’s taken me all over the world, literally, and my success has only increased as I’ve gotten older, proving that everyone has the capacity to be an athlete.
