Sony 4K Ultra HD TV FIFA World Cup Campaign

Overview: Exclusive sweepstakes with Best Buy to support the marketing and sales of Sony’s 4K Ultra HD TVs with a grand prize trip to watch the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Channels: Best Buy desktop and mobile microsites, social channels, and bestbuy.com digital banners.

Project Role: Project lead responsible for developing creative direction, briefing and partnering with creative agency (Catapult), facilitating production and logistics with sweepstakes management agency (Gage), and routing approvals and execution with Best Buy.

Results: Within the 2 week timeframe of the campaign, it achieved over 90K entries with higher than industry average mobile engagement and strong CTR for product purchase consideration, surpassing previous sweepstakes campaigns.

Student Ambassador Program | Community Website Production

Overview: built an online community portal for the Sony Student Ambassador Program in order to communicate directly with the students and allow them to troubleshoot and share best practices with each other in a secure, closed group environment.

Channels: Ning, a community blog hosting site.

Project Role: Site Manager; built the community site from the ground up using the templatized services provided by Ning then enlisted the assistance of the web design team to polish the theme to align with the existing brand standards at the time. Maintained site and engaged directly with community on a daily basis.

Results: site had 95% adoption and engagement rate (100 members total) with a subset of 20 very active users who consistently participated in forum discussions and content sharing.

Sony Online Education Store | Landing Page Redesign

Overview: redesign and optimization of the Sony Online Education Store landing page, where students and faculty can browse special deals.

Channels: Sony direct retail; desktop landing page redesign.

Project Role: project lead working directly with Web Analytics team to identify opportunities to improve revenue-per-visit (RPV) and revenue-per-click (RPC); wrote project brief for web design team and selected and ran a 6-week test on the new design layout.

Results: increase in RPV and RPC as a result of reorganization and design of product category offerings better aligned to the seasonality of student and faculty product purchases.

 

Amazon Media | VAIO Duo Laptop

Overview: 2 week media campaign to promote a limited time instant rebate offer that followed a larger awareness campaign of the new “convertible” laptop category featuring Sony’s hero VAIO Duo models.

Channels: desktop ad placements with Amazon.

Project Role: review and approve creative and media plan in partnership with media agency (UM) and Amazon Media Group (AMG).

Results: Significant spike in impressions to product detail pages (PDPs) and campaign landing page as well as a post-campaign halo effect in impressions and unit sales.

Amazon Media | QX Camera

Overview: 2 week media campaign to promote a limited time instant rebate offer on a unique and innovation product, the QX10 smartphone attachable lens-style camera.

Channels: desktop, mobile and kindle ad placements with Amazon.

Project Role: review and approve creative and media plan in partnership with media agency (UM) and Amazon Media Group (AMG).

Results: 4.7MM impressions with high CTR and considerations as a result of high level of recall from an earlier run of the campaign during holiday, as well as strategic placements above the fold and exact targeting of intenders and super users.
